The Minnesota Vikings are 3.5 point road favorites vs. the Chicago Bears in a Week 12 NFC North showdown. Oddsmakers set the total at 39.5 points after these two teams scored a total of 54 points in their two games last season.
The Bears are riding a four-game losing streak, while the Vikings have won three games in a row and are fresh off a win vs. the Titans.
Keep reading to see why I like the underdog Bears in this spot.

Vikings vs Bears Picks Week 12
Bears +3.5 (-110)
The Vikings will be playing in their third consecutive road game while the Bears are playing in their third consecutive home game.
Minnesota hasn't looked like the same dominant team we saw earlier this season and they strugged at times in wins vs. the Titans and the Jaguars. The Titans had more yards per play than the Vikings and, if it weren't for a few controversial penalties (Tennessee was penalized 13 times compated to Minnesota's 3 penalties), Minnesota might have lost last week.
The Bears are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games and I like getting the hook in this spot. I actually bet this game Sunday night while it was Bears +4.5, but I still like the +3.5. In fact, I think the Bears are absolutely worth a look on the moneyline too. Always shop around because you can get a better number than what's listed above.
Chicago deserved to win last weeks game vs. the Packers and new play caller Thomas Brown seemed to make a big difference. Caleb Williams looked a lot more comfortable and Brown seemed to restore chemistry between Williams and his receivers.
The Vikings have the 22nd best redzone offense (41.67%) over their last three games and Chicago has the NFLs best redzone defense (40.63% this season). Sam Darnold seems to be regressing as the season goes on and I think Montez Sweat and company can give him fits in the redzone.
Vikings vs. Bears Player Props
Jordan Addison O 37.5 rec. yards (-113)
The Bears have struggled to cover No. 2 wide receivers all season long as they rank 30th in the league vs. that position according to FTNFantasy.com. Bears No. 2 WR Tyrique Stevenson has a mediocre 56.3 coverage grade according to PFF.
Addison has covered this number in two of his last three games and he's coming off a season-high eight targets last week.
Vikings vs. Bears News
Bears guard Teven Jenkins didn't practice at all last week and missed the teams Week 11 game. Chicago's backup guard Nate Davis was cut last week after showing up to practice with a surprise back injury so the Bears are fairly thin on the offensive line.
Saturday update: Jenkins practiced in full on Thursday and Friday.
