Canucks vs Canadiens Odds & Picks: Habs Win As Home Dogs

The Montreal Canadiens are shocking home dogs against the Vancouver Canucks tonight with +110 odds on the BET99 moneyline. With four wins in their last five games as home dogs, I'll gladly take the Habs at plus money against a struggling Canucks team.

Canucks vs Canadiens Picks

Canadiens ML (+110) at BET99

I'm quite surprised that the Canadiens are home dogs tonight against the Canucks. Not only has Montreal won seven of its last nine games beating strong teams like Florida, Tampa, Vegas, and Colorado, but it's also gone 10-6-1 at home this year and holds a strong 13-6SU record at the Bell Center against the Canucks since 2007.

Then you consider the rough shape Vancouver is in, not only has it gone 3-9SU in its last nine games highlighted by a 3-0 shutout at the hands of bottom-of-the-standings Nashville in their last outing, but they're also without defenseman Quinn Hughes and his Norris-calibre play on the back end with 1.24 points per game and forward Elias Pettersson's creative play up front, the Canucks are 1-3SU without the pair this season.

These two teams are headed in opposite directions yet books have given the surging side, Montreal, the longest odds to win tonight. Sounds like free money by backing the Habs to win.

Canucks vs Canadiens Player Prop

Nick Suzuki O0.5 Points (-175) at BET99

The Habs young captain enters this contest with a three-game point streak and per Outlier, has gone OVER 0.5 points in 14 of his last 18 games (78%), averaging 1.1 points per game.

Suzuki Points- January 6

Suzuki enters this contest on a three-game point streak and has scored a point in five of his last seven games. He shouldn't have a hard time carving open a poor Vancouver defense that has allowed no less than three goals in its last eight games averaging 3.5 against per game.
