The Vancouver Canucks continue a five-game road trip to face the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena where the Caps are -190 home favs per BET99. With the Caps holding a strong 13-4-3 home record and with the Canucks hobbled by the drama that has dogged them for weeks now, I expect nothing less than a Washington win.
Check out Odds Sharks +700 BET99 same-game parlay for tonight's game where we packaged the total going OVER 6 goals and for Alex Ovechkin and Brock Boeser to score a goal.

Canucks vs Capitals Picks
Capitals ML (-190) at BET99
It's simply impossible to put any faith in the Canucks at the moment. Injuries, infighting, and trade scuttlebutt have Vancouver sinking with seven losses in its last 10 games and having lost four of its last five road games. There's no cohesion in that locker room and it shows, specifically in Vancouver's last game where it let a 3-1 third-period lead slip against the Montreal Canadiens who were on the second leg of a back-to-back.
Now they face the surprisingly strong Capitals who hold a 13-4-3 home record and have bested the Canucks in four of their last five meetings. Again, it's simply impossible to have any faith in the Canucks.
Despite the Caps in up-and-down form with a 3-3SU record in their last six games, they've picked up points in five, so they've been competitive in this recent mediocre run. Playing against a Canucks side that is struggling to function as a cohesive unit should be easy pickings for them.
OVER 1.5 First Period Goals (-125) at BET99
Both of these teams have been great again the P1 OVER. The Caps hold the best record against the first-period total at 28-12 (70%) this season, returning +11.5 units. For the Canucks, the first-period OVER has hit four times in their last seven games, they've also been good historically at hitting the P1 OVER with a 128-74-1 record (63%) since the 2022-23 season.
Canucks vs Capitals Same Game Parlay
OVER 6 Goals: Goals fly into the net when either team plays, in the Vancouver Canucks current dysfunctional state the total has gone OVER six goals five times in their last seven games with an average of 6.9 goals. For Washington, they've gone OVER six goals in their last three games with an average of 8.3 goals.
Ovechkin Anytime Goal: Ovi is scoring 0.79 goals per game with 19 in 24, an Ovechkin anytime goal is an auto bet until he breaks Gretzky's goal-scoring record. He's also been great against the Canucks scoring six goals in his last four games against Vancouver.
Boeser Anytime Goal: Boeser has been quiet of late with no goals in his last three games, but with Washington allowing four goals in each of its last three outings, Boeser should find twine tonight.
Canucks vs Capitals Player Prop
Pierre-Luc Dubois O0.5 Points (-130) at BET99
Outlier points out that Pierre-Luc Dubois has provided at least one assist in eight of his last nine games, averaging one per game. But instead of taking Dubois at O0.5 assists at +125 I'll take the shorter -130 odds for OVER 0.5 points instead.
Some of you might be mad that I'm passing up on those +125 odds, but I'm playing this conservatively and opening up my options for a reason. While PLD has been an assists merchant on the year with 84% of his points being helpers, this is a player that was scoring at a 30-goal pace just two years ago, he could remember how to score goals at any minute. Why not against a Canucks side that's allowed 3.8 goals per game in their last five?
With 31 points in 40 games and five multi-point games on the season, it's not as if Dubois is a hyper-productive player, if he scores a goal that might be the only production he gets on the night. So, I'll risk losing out on 0.48 units by taking PLD's points prop over his assists prop tonight.
