The Calgary Flames make the trip cross country to begin a three-game road trip with the first coming against the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday night at the Bell Centre. Although the Flames have won just two of their last eight games, BET99 has listed them as the slight -130 favorites and the Canadiens as the +110 underdogs and the total is set at 6.5 goals with -110 odds on each side.
If you’re liking the home underdogs in this spot, BET99 has the perfect Flames vs Canadiens same-game parlay for you in which you can bet on Cole Caufield to score a goal and the Habs to pick up the win at +310 odds.

Flames vs Canadiens Picks Tonight
Flames vs Canadiens UNDER 6.5 Goals (-110) at BET99
With the lack of success by either team recently, I’m going to stray away from the sides in this one, though I do lean on the visiting Flames to pick up their first road win in nearly a month.
Quite simply, both of these teams struggle to find the back of the net through the first month of the NHL season. For Montreal, there are only three players that have notched over three goals thus far, led by Goal Caufield, ahem, COLE Caufield, who has 10 goals in 12 games and is +150 at BET99 to bury again tonight – a bet I’ll be taking.
The Habs are 23rd in league scoring, averaging a dismal 2.75 goals per game and have only scored more than three goals three times. While you may think this has led them to be an UNDER machine, the opposite has happened, especially recently in which they were on a six-game OVER streak that concluded with a 3-1 loss on Saturday. On the year, Montreal’s OVER/UNDER record is 8-4 having surrendered the second-most goals in the league.
For Calgary, there is more of a diverse scoring attack, with six players with more than two goals on the year, but lack the elite scoring of a Caufield, as Jonathan Huberdeau leads the way with five tucks (+265 to score at BET99). Unlike the Canadiens, though, the Flames have been a strong UNDER play at 4-7-1 good for +2.37 units.
Overall, we have two struggling offenses and the “better” of the two is traveling across the country beginning a three-game road swing, they could be a little slow out of the gates. All of this is shaping up to be a low-scoring affair.
Flames vs Canadiens Prop Bet Tonight
Cole Caufield Anytime Goal (+150)
This feels like an auto-play at this point in the season especially when BET99 is giving us plus-money odds. Caufield has 10 goals on the year and only twice has he had multi-goal games, which means he has scored in eight of 12 games – pretty darn automatic. From a nerdy odds perspective, +150 odds have an implied probability of 40% which is quite the change from a prop that’s hitting at 75% thus far.
If you’re a little weary about playing the +150 and looking for more of a parlay-builder prop, our friends at Outlier have a great trend for you for Caufield. They have it that Caufield has had at least one point in 10 of his last 12 home games and BET99 has his OVER 0.5 points set at -150.
