There's no such thing as the Vegas flu for the Oilers who are 4-1SU over their last five in Sin City. That strong record in Vegas is why McDavid's Oilers are favored tonight at -135 on the BET99 moneyline, and with the Golden Knights' recent struggles, specifically against teams that control shot shares, I'm betting on the Oilers to win this straight up.

Oilers vs Golden Knights Picks
Edmonton Oilers ML (-135) at BET99
Edmonton is in great form winning three straight and seven of its last 10 games, now the Oilers bring that swagger to Vegas where they've won four of their previous five meetings with the Golden Knights. Losing 50+ goal scorer Zach Hyman to injury should have been a massive blow to these Oilers but they've done well scoring 4.3 goals per game in his absence. Waiver wire pick-up Kasperi Kapnen has done well scoring two points in his last three games for the Oilers.
Edmonton also enters this game with the second-best 5on5 corsi rating (shot share) in the NHL at 55%, something that does not bode well for the Golden Knights who are 5-4SU against the top five shot share teams in the league and recently lost 2-1 to Colorado (3rd in shot share) and 6-0 to Utah (4th in shot share) three nights ago.
While Vegas holds an excellent 9-3-0 home record this year much of those wins are from the start of the season, it's gone 1-3 in its last four games at T-Mobile Arena allowing 4.8 goals per game. I don't believe the Golden Knights will be able to stop these Oilers tonight and will lose so I'm taking Edmonton on the -135 moneyline.
Oilers vs Golden Knights Same Game Parlay
OVER 6.5 Goals: Both teams have a recent record of seeing the total go OVER, in its last five games Vegas is 3-1-1 against the OVER while Edmonton is 4-1. That happens when each team has players producing at a 100-point pace like McDavid and Eichel (more on them in a second). Not to mention that the total has gone OVER 6.5 goals in four of the last six Edmonton-Vegas games at T-Mobile Arena with an average of 7.5 goals scored.
Connor McDavid OVER 1.5 Points: McDavid has gone on an offensive tear lately scoring 21 points in his last 10 games, an average of 2.1 per game. Davo has scored well against the Golden Knights over his career with 1.3 points per game with 28 in 21. Having gone pointless in his first meeting with Vegas this year a course correction is in order, so expect him to have a big night tonight.
Jack Eichel OVER 1.5 Points: Eichel always has something to prove against the Oilers scoring an average of 1.18 points per game. This year Eichel is on a different level scoring 36 points in 25 games, a pace of 1.44 per game or 118 points over a full season which would be a career-high by some distance. He's proven he can score a bunch against this Oilers team with three points in their only meeting this season, so doing so again with his production level is a safe play.
Oilers vs Golden Knights Player Pro
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins O2.5 Shots (+128)
Nugent-Hopkins has gone UNDER 2.5 shots in 10 of his last 13 road games per Outlier, but I'm going to fade that trend and take OVER 2.5 shots for RNH.
While UNDER 2.5 shots has successfully hit in 10 of RNH's 13 road games, he's hit this prop in three of his last four road games getting three shots in Utah on the 29th of November and four shots the next night in Colorado. He's also scoring well with three goals in his last five games so with that hot stick Edmonton is going to feed him tonight against the Golden Knights not to mention that with Hyman out, Nugent-Hopkins's ice time has only gone up exceeding 21 minutes in his last two games. With a hot stick and more ice time, RNH will get a ton of chances tonight in Vegas.
