Josie's Take: What a weird first two games. First, the Bruins slapped the Panthers in the series opener and it was followed by Florida giving them a taste of their own medicine. The Panthers sure did adjust in Game 2, firing up their offense to snipe six goals and toughening up their defense to allow the Bruins just 15 shots. We saw both sides get aggravated last outing. I mean, Tkachuk and Pasta dropping the gloves was the cherry on top.
History favors the Panthers, which have won four consecutive Game 3’s. But, honestly, this is unpredictable for me. Is Boston’s offense going to show up tonight? Or is Florida going to light it up again? The one constant is the OVER, which has hit in eight straight playoff meetings between the two.
Pick: OVER 5.5 (+100)

Michel's Take: Boston got spanked in Game 2. I'm sure the entire 416 area code cheered loudly after that one. But Boston doesn't lose by that much often. They've only lost by three or more goals three times this season. In the following game, Boston is 2-1SU. Both of those wins came on the road by the way.
Swayman was shelled in Game 2 and mercifully pulled from the game. Assuming he gets the start again in Game 3, Swayze bounces back very well in his next start.
After allowing more than three goals in a game, the Alaskan wonder is 17-10SU (63%) with a glowing 0.927SV% and a 2.19 GAA.
I like Boston to win this one with Swayze (hopefully) holding down the crease.

Josie's Take: A third-period choke for the Oilers. Coughing up a 4-2 lead halfway through the third period was a dagger in Edmonton’s heart. Regardless, the Oilers dominated the majority of the minutes, capitalizing on an early lead within the first three minutes. Third-stringer Arturs Silovs didn’t prove to be sturdy, recording a .778SV% in the win. The Canucks have also dropped five games when coming off a win at Rogers Arena.
Chances are, giving up three goals within five minutes is going to be a rarity. I think Edmonton will take control and not let it slip away this time.

Michel's Take: A ton of scoring potential and bad goaltending? How is the OVER not way shorter than -118?!
We saw nine goals off of 42 shots in Game 1. That's more than a goal on every five shots in this (still young) series. And look, since 2022 the total has gone OVER five times in eight games (71%). The line in those eight games has never been lower than 6.0, as it is today.
With -118 odds, I'm Hulk-smashing the OVER on this one.
