We've made it to the second week of baseball, which means it's time to really lock in on our MLB player props.
I'm targeting some edges in tonight's Rockies vs Phillies game for two of my three picks.
Below, find our best MLB player prop bets for Monday, March 31, 2025:
MLB player Props Today
Kyle Schwarber OVER 1.5 Total Bases (+100 at Sportsbook)
In 14 career at-bats against German Marquez, Schwarber has six hits (three for extra bases). He also enters this contest with five hits in his first three games, going OVER 1.5 total bases in two of three games so far.
Schwarber loves playing the Rockies, with 30 career hits in 39 games against Colorado. Of those 30 hits, 11 have been home runs and five others are extra-base hits. It’ll take just one swing to get this OVER.
Jorge Soler UNDER 0.5 Hits (+160 at Sportsbook)
Jorge Soler is never a big hits guy, hitting just .243 in his career. But tonight, more than ever, is a great time to fade him.
Against a brutal White Sox pitching staff to start the season, Soler had just two hits in 12 at-bats. Now, he faces Miles Mikolas, a Cardinals SP whom Soler has a career .077 batting average and .231 OPS against in 13 career at-bats.
Last season, Soler went UNDER 0.5 hits in 58 of his 142 games — just over 40%. This line implies a 38.46% chance he’s hitless tonight.
German Marquez OVER 2.5 Earned Runs (-128 at Sportsbook)
Marquez struggles against these Phils, allowing a collective .366 average and 1.033 OPS to all active Philly hitters. Schwarber, Nick Castellanos, and JT Realmuto all have career OPS over .950 against him. The Phillies have scored 19 runs in their first three games this year, too, so the lineup is locked in.
Marquez also enters this start off a pretty brutal spring. He posted a 5.74 ERA in five spring training outings, walking eight batters to just 10 strikeouts against largely Triple-A caliber players. He’s letting up more than 2.5 runs in this one.
