My MLB same-game parlay for March 28 heads Toronto, where the Blue Jays look to stave off a hungry Orioles team that embarrassed them in the season opener.
Spoiler: Baltimore will beat Toronto again. With Kevin Gausman's recent struggles against the O's, there are plenty of avenues to pick for this Orioles vs Blue Jays same-game parlay:

Orioles vs Blue Jays Parlay Pick No. 1: Orioles ML (+110)
Remarkably, the Orioles are underdogs after clobbering the Blue Jays 12-2 in Thursday's season opener. Baltimore hit six home runs and battered Jays starter Jose Berrios. Meanwhile, Toronto's offense managed just four hits (three singles). Baltimore looked far more dangerous than Toronto, and now the O's draw a pitcher they've had success against.
Orioles vs Blue Jays Parlay Pick No. 2: Gausman OVER 4.5 Hits Allowed (-155)
Gausman could surprise us all and start hucking 97 mph out of the gate, but I have my doubts. While he's enjoyed a successful Jays career, the righty clearly took a step back last season, authoring a 3.83 ERA and striking out just 8.1 batters per nine, his lowest ratio since 2018. His fastball doesn't have the same life, and that makes his specialty splitter less effective.
Gausman pitched against the O's twice last season, yielding six runs in June and two runs in August. In that first start, he coughed up six hits, cashing the OVER. Singles and doubles have always been Gausman's cryptonite. He rarely walks guys or allows homers, but he's fairly unlucky with base hits and random traffic on the bases, hence his 1.22 WHIP from last season.
Given Baltimore's raging start to the season Thursday (12 runs, 14 hits), I expect the Orioles to knock Gausman around with, at the very least, a handful of singles.
Orioles vs Blue Jays Parlay Pick No. 3: Mountcastle OVER 0.5 Hits (-225)
The man needs no introduction in Toronto. Mountcastle picked up a hit yesterday, adding yet another solid performance to a lifelong resume of success at Rogers Centre. The Orioles first baseman owns a career .947 OPS in Toronto with eight homers in 30 games, making him one of the more potent Jay killers in recent history. On top of it all, Mountcastle is 6-for-19 (.318 BA) lifetime vs Gausman.
