NBA Player Props Today: 3 UNDER Combo Props In Points + Rebounds

We're truly scraping the bottom of the barrel here for NBA player prop options as there's only three games scheduled in the Association on Friday night and four of the teams competing rank in the bottom-seven overall in winning percentage. We're not wagering on team success, to be fair, and perhaps having fewer options will focus our attention on finding the jewels of the day.

Here are three player prop expert picks to consider, all of which are combination points and rebounds props taking the UNDER in three separate matchups.

Zach Edey UNDER 13.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Pelicans (-104)

Preview: New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET

The New Orleans Pelicans can be thoroughly dominated around the basket, as they rank 25th in opponent's points per game at the center position (24.17) and 30th in rebounds (17.40), yet the UNDER still makes more sense here for rookie Zach Edey.

The 7-foot-4 giant did go OVER 13.5 points and rebounds against New Orleans less than a month ago on Dec. 27 (23 = 14 points + nine rebounds), playing 27 minutes in an eight-point victory for the Memphis Grizzlies. However, in 10 appearances since then, Edey has eclipsed the 22-minute mark just a single time, having connected on an UNDER at this number in eight of his last nine outings.

Memphis can go 11 players deep most nights, reducing the need for someone of Edey's plodding nature to see the hardwood for a lengthy stretches. This could easily backfire should New Orleans go cold shooting the rock, as the ball will simply fall into his enormous hands, but the upside is greater for an UNDER considering his recent numbers.

Miles Bridges UNDER 28.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Trail Blazers (-106)

Preview: Portland Trail Blazers vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7 p.m. ET

A season-ending injury to Brandon Miller should put the Charlotte Hornets in a bind offensively in theory, yet over the last three games sans the sophomore, Miles Bridges has emerged by averaging 20.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.

Simple mathematics, though, would show that 20.3 + 4.7 doesn't equate to at least 28.5, which is the number Bridges needs to topple against the Portland Trail Blazers and a number he's fallen UNDER hitting in six of his last seven games. Teammate Mark Williams is putting up a monster 23.3 points and 13.7 rebounds on 57.1 percent shooting during the same stretch, as well, so that's taking a bite out of Bridges' potential boards to reach OVERs on props of this nature.

Jarrett Allen UNDER 25.5 Points + Rebounds vs. 76ers (-108)

Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7 p.m. ET

The Cleveland Cavaliers shouldn't need a full-fledged effort to handle a Philadelphia 76ers team in a world of hurt that's dropped seven in a row as Joel Embiid's knee continues to swell. A rematch with the Houston Rockets is likely circled on Cleveland's calendar for Saturday, so in an ideal world, a majority of the starters wouldn't be needed to play heavy minutes in Philly to avoid losing consecutive games for the second time all season.

On paper, Jarrett Allen could feast on a frontcourt missing Embiid and backup Andre Drummond, and perhaps he will. However, with a combo prop of 25.5 points and rebounds, Allen has gone UNDER in five of his last six games averaging 14.3 points and 9.3 rebounds. He's also hit an UNDER twice already in 2024-25 versus the Sixers, which includes a six-point, six-rebound effort on Dec. 21 in what was a 27-point blowout victory for the Cavaliers.
