Let me start out by saying that Cameron Indoor Stadium is one of the GREAT places to watch a college hoop game. If you have never been, PUT it on your list. I was lucky enough to get to Cameron back in 2017 for a game between the Dookies and Syracuse. Fortunately, one of my great friends over the last 40 years was a guy named Howie Garfinkel. Garf, as everyone called him, ran the famous Five Star Basketball Camp, and was very tight with Coach K.

Got two seats right behind the Duke bench and sat next to Grant Hill. The game turned into an easy W for the Blue Devils, but one of the main story lines was Jim Boeheim getting ejected for the first time in his 38-year career. Yelling, screaming, throwing his jacket in the stands. Wonderful! The other story line is the Cameron Crazies. You really don't get to feel the Crazies watching on TV, but these kids are bouncing from the opening tip to the final whistle. And I can tell you that Cameron was actually SHAKING!

Now on to the money matters. This is a delicious Top-10 matchup with Auburn at No. 2 at Duke at No. 9. The Tigers come rolling in with a 7-0 perfecto and looking at the LEGOmetrics, it has not been built on cupcakes. Auburn played at Houston, vs Iowa State, vs North Carolina and vs Memphis -- the latter three in the Maui Invitational. All wins and all covers except the Iowa State game where the Tigers were a 3.5 point-favorite and won 83-81.

If you're a college hoop junkie, you probably have heard the name Cooper Flagg a bunch. Flagg is just a 17 year old freshman but projected to be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Cooper hasn't been killing it just yet, but his numbers are solid. He is playing between 25 and 38 minutes and averaging 15.9 points per game, pulling down 8.3 boards and dishing out 4.1 assists. Nice, but not as nice as Auburn's SUPER senior center Johni Broome, who is knocking down 20.7 points per game and cleaning the glass with 12.9 boards per outing.

Another name that you'll be hearing is Kon Knueppel. This freshman guard is Duke's three-point specialist and hitting at a 54.5% clip from downtown in his four home games at Cameron. Totally confident that Tiger coach Bruce Pearl will find a way to bottle up Flagg and Kon and roll back home with a tough road win. Duke's best players are freshman, while Auburn's Broome is a 5th year senior. Gimme the guy that shaves over the kids with the Peach fuzz on their faces.
