March Madness is in full swing. As the round of 64 keeps on rolling on Friday, we've scoured the board for the best best CBB player props for you to target.
Take a peek at our expert CBB player props for the first round of the NCAAB tournament.
RJ Davis 3+ 3PM (+140) at Sportsbook
After UNC embarrassed San Diego State in the First Four, the Tar Heels have jumped to become 1.5-point favorites in their first round meeting with Ole Miss. Davis stepped on the court that day with intensity, going 6-for-6 from the perimeter and pocketing 26 points. The senior has drained three or more from beyond the arc in seven of his last eight performances, with the exception of the ACC Tournament Semifinal clash vs Duke.
Connor Withers U 2.5 3PM (-155) at Sportsbook
I’m high on Michigan State this tournament and expect them to handle Bryant pretty easily. The Bulldogs have lost nine straight against Big Ten programs and won’t be able to solve the Spartans defense, ranked fifth at KenPom. Tom Izzo’s group stops the deep shot, allowing competitors just a 27.9 3PT% to reign as the second-best three-point defense in the nation. Withers have failed to eclipse this line in nine of his last 10 performances.
Donovan Dent 6+ Assists -164 at Sportsbook
Donovan Dent has been tearing up the Mountain West conference this season. The junior guard leads the Lobos with 20.6 points and 6.4 assists per game.
Dent's been dishing the rock lately, with 6+ assists in seven of his last 10 games. I expect the pressure based Marquette defense to blitz Dent and force him to pass the basketball early and often in Friday's contest. Look for Dent to pull the strings of the Lobos offense with at least six assists against the Golden Eagles.
Duke's Kon Knueppel O16.5 Pts, -113 Sportsbook
Cooper Flagg may be the star, but Kon Knueppel has been the Blue Devils' scorer lately. Duke's guard has goe OVER 16.5 points in five-straight games and seven of his last nine. In his last five contests, Knueppel has averaged 19.4 points per game.
Flagg is expected to be back for Duke in this game, but I still think the Devils will take things slow for their star player against a No. 16 seed. There should be lots of opportunity for Knueppel to run this offense and take the shots.
Against a Mount St. Mary's team that allows 70.1 points per game, Knueppel can cash again.
Jacob Ognacevic OVER 25.5 Points + Rebounds -120 at Underdog Fantasy
Jacob Ognacevic is the nucleus of the Lipscomb Bisons offense. The 6'8 senior is averaging 20.1 points on 57% shooting while knocking down 40% of threes this season.
Ognacevic has surpassed 25.5 points and rebounds in 12 of his last 13 games. The Wisconsin native is averaging over 31 points and rebounds a night in that stretch. While he'll see a step up in competition at the March Madness tournament, I expect the sharpshooting big man to thrive.
