Our Expert Fading the public in Notre-Dame Georgia

While the big money is on Georgia to cover, our NCAAF expert Josie Costigan likes the Fighting Irish and the points.

Kirby Smart has the pedigree, with Georgia playing in two of the last three national championships, but this season's two losses have exposed vulnerabilities. Their last two games went into overtime, including a nail-biter against an irrelevant Georgia Tech program, and now they’re without their QB1. Meanwhile, Notre Dame dominated Indiana in the first round, holding them to just three points through the fourth quarter and flexing their top-3 scoring defense.

Marcus Freeman’s Irish are firing on all cylinders. With a lethal ground game and a defense built to withstand the best, this team looks destined for glory.

Consider Taking Boise State To Cover

The Nittany Lions dominated SMU, leading 28-0 at halftime, though Kevin Jennings’ three interceptions—two returned for touchdowns—sealed the Mustangs’ fate. Boise State, led by Heisman runner-up Ashton Jeanty and his nearly 2,500 rushing yards, is a one-man show but showed grit in their narrow 37-34 loss to undefeated Oregon. That performance, arguably Spencer Danielson’s toughest test, proved the Broncos can hang with the best.

On a neutral site with CFP adrenaline, Josie is treading lightly on this double-digit spread.

Most Bet Player Props: Penn State vs Boise State

  1. Ashton Jeanty under 131.5 rushing yards (-115)
  2. Ashton Jeanty to score anytime touchdown (-250)
  3. Ashton Jeanty to score 1st touchdown (+375)
  4. Matt Lauter under 28.5 receiving yards (-115)
  5. Ashton Jeanty over 15.5 receiving yards (-115)

It's a real shocker, as Heisman runner-up Jeanty dominates all the prop action for this Penn State vs Boise State matchup Tuesday.

Josie Costigan loves Jeanty to score a TD, even at -250. As she points out, Jeanty is the heart and soul of Boise State’s offense. The junior has scored in every game this season except a surprising outlier against Portland State, contributing 29 touchdowns, which over half of the team’s total. The Broncos’ fate hinges on Jeanty’s ability to capitalize on his opportunities and keep their playoff hopes alive.
