2017 NFL Season Win Totals

With the draft over and most of the big-name free agents finding themselves a new home, it’s time to start looking forward to the NFL season. And of course, that means bettors start poring over the season win totals to see where their favorite team’s expectations should be set.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, the New England Patriots have hit the board with the highest win total in the NFL. Belichick and company are being pegged at 12.5 wins according to online book Sportsbook, which dwarfs every other team in football. In fact, only the Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks have win totals set in the double digits. This is somewhat surprising considering 10 teams finished with 10 or more wins last season.

Much like the top, the bottom doesn’t feature much in the line of surprises. The New York Jets find themselves with the lowest win total in the league at 4.5 while the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers are listed at 5.0.
