The Jets opened up as a -7.5 point favorite over the Denver Broncos in a Week 4 contest with the Over/Under in this game set at 38.5. Small trickle of green has come in on the Broncos and the line has ticked down a hook to an even -7.
Last season, these teams played in Denver and the Jets (+2) posted a 31-21 mile high win. Aaron Rodgers did not play so it turned into the Wilson Bowl, Zach for New York against Russell for Denver. Obviously, neither guy is gonna play in this game.
And if look-aheads are part of your handicapping homework, we got the Jets flying to Minnesota next week and the Saints coming back home for a matchup against the Raiders.

Looks like those Ayahuasca parties down in Costa Rica have paid off because Aaron Rodgers is back baabbeee.
After a sloppy opener, Rodgers has picked up pace, with the New England game his best so far. In the two wins against the Patriots and Titans, Aaron has hit 69.2% of his passes for 457 yards with 4 TDs and zero INTs. He spread the love around to eight receivers last week with Garrett Wilson and Tyler Conklin leading the way with five grabs each.
The other arm, Denver rookie QB Bo Nix, had a solid game after two stinkers. He completed 25-of-36 for 216 yards and while he did not throw a TD, more importantly, he did NOT throw an interception.
The New York defense will present a tougher challenge for Nix, but at the same time, the Jets should be prepared for Bo's legs because he took off nine times last week and gained 47 yards. And just in case you're looking to play Bo's rushing yards, he scampered for 35 yards against the Seahawks and 25 yards against the Steelers.
Speaking of legs, the Jets now have a two-headed monster that will take some of the pressure off Rodgers. Breece Hall had 16 carries for 54 yards and Braelon Allen ran for 55 yards on 11 carries. Back to Breece. Last year in the game against the Broncos, he gobbled up a staggering 177 yards, so there are holes to be found in the Denver D.
One final note and it's REVENGE. Nathaniel Hackett is calling the plays for his buddy Aaron Rodgers and if you don't remember, he was involved in an ugly 4-11 record as the head coach in Denver back in 2022.
Hackett had issues for sure, but current coach Sean Payton absolutely UNLOADED on him. "They can only beat the (expletive) out of you so much," Payton said. "But everybody's got a little stink on their hands. It's not just Russell. It was a (poor) offensive line. It might have been one of the WORST coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That's how bad it was." OUCH! Or as the great Dick Enberg woulda said, OH MY!

Rarely has a coach talked about another coach in such devastating terms. Bad blood? Oh YEA. If Rodgers and the Jets get a chance to run up the score, you know they're gonna keep their foot on the gas. Bank of Benj wide open for the guys in green.
