The New York Jets opened up as a 4-point favorite over the New Orleans Saints in a Week 2 contest with the total in this game set at 40.5. That might be a just a wee bit high since the Jets only scored 19 points against the 49ers and the Titans put just 17 on the board against the Bears.
Rodgers stepped back under center, after missing the entire 2023 season, well he did take four snaps, and hit 13-of-21 for 167 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.
The Jets would love to have this game and split 1-1 on the road, then come home to a pair of winnable games against the Patriots and Broncos.

Jets vs Titans Picks Week 2
Jets -3.5 (-110)
It's hard to properly evaluate the Jets against the 49ers in Week 1. Rodgers started the 2024 season with a three and out and a Breece Hall fumble. The third drive was old school Aaron, with a 12 play, 70 yard drive that lasted 7:07 and wound up with Hall running it in for a TD.
After falling behind 26-7 in the third Q, Rodgers engineered a five play 70 yard drive finding Allen Lazard for a 36 yard strike for a TD. So, not bad, not great, but at least he is still standing and lives to fight another day.
And we do remember that the Jets played a 49ers team that, even without Christian McCaffrey Monday night, went all the way to the Super Bowl last season. Tennessee has not come close to a Super Bowl in 24 years.
Depending on how you look at Week 1 and the return of Aaron Rodgers. New York head coach Robert Saleh, trying to spin a 32-19 loss in a positive light said that all things considered, the current 0-1 start actually feels better than last season's 1-0 start. Okay coach Bob, if you say so.
Meanwhile, last week against the Bears, the Titans came up on the short end of a 24-17 score. The amazing part of that game was the fact that Chicago DID NOT score an offensive TD. They had a punt blocked and returned for a TD, a pick six and three FGs. They held rookie QB Caleb Williams to an ugly effort, 14-of-29 for only 93 yards, and still lost. OUCH! Tennessee QB Will Levis was barely adequate, completing 19-of-32 for 127 with 1 TD and 2 INTs.
Another home opener to look at down in Music City. I looked over the last 10 years, and if you backed the Titans, your bank account is in the RED baabbeee. Starting with a loss to the Cowboys in 2014, Tennessee is just 3-7 straight up and against the spread. On the totals board, the Titans have gone LOW in six of their last 10 home openers.
Last season, the Jets were No. 3 in the league in yards allowed and with eight starters returning, we expect another solid year on the defensive side of the ball. And this week, Aaron should be able to dissect a Tennessee D that is not in same zip code as the Niners. Gonna try a little taste of the Ayahuasca Kid, Aaron Rodgers, to cover the 3.5 and if you can, of course buy the hook and take the line down to -3.
