If you're looking to up your NFL betting stakes for Championship Weekend, consider a same-game parlay. After breaking down an AFC Championship game SGP for the Chiefs and Ravens contest, I've got another for the NFC side of the bracket, too.
Check out what same-game parlay I've cooked up for 49ers vs Lions below:

I really thought about how to go about this same-game parlay, initially leaning to a 49ers moneyline pick and some props that complimented that. Instead, I've decided to bank on the 49ers rushing defense and build a parlay around that.
The Point UNDER: While Detroit and San Francisco's offenses both have some serious firepower and elite weapons, the 49ers in particular play a very methodical game when it comes to the playoffs. In San Fran's last eight playoff games under coach Kyle Shanahan, the UNDER has hit seven times. When you have rushing weapons like Christian McCaffrey and a good defense, it's easy to play possession football when the games matter most.
The Rushing UNDER: While I expect the 49ers to run out the clock, I don't think the Lions will have the same luck. The 49ers allow the third-fewest rushing yards per game against in the league this season and the Lions haven't been particularly hot rushing the ball recently, either.
In pure timeshare with David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs has rushed for over 45 yards in just one of his last four contests. Now, he's added 40+ receiving yards twice in that time, but if we're just looking at ground yardage he hasn't been that good lately.
The CMC Score: Now, the only leg left in this parlay is a McCaffrey touchdown. I could drop a bunch of statistics about why this is going to happen, but I don't even really think that's worth either of our times. CMC Touchdowns are the only certainty in life. In 17 games this year, McCaffrey has scored in 14 of them. Expect another score this weekend.

What Is An NFL Same-Game Parlay?
The basic concept of a same-game parlay is the same as any parlay bet. Combining two or more wagers, you can earn a higher total payout if all of the individual bets win. You can usually combine point spreads, OVER/UNDERs, moneyline bets and sometimes prop bets.
What differentiates a same-game parlay (if the name doesnât make it obvious) is all the legs of the parlay have to be from the same game. Often, this makes the odds you're getting on the parlay slightly worse, though, as the books have to bake in an added edge when all the bets are from the same event.
How To Create Good Same-Game Parlays
The main takeaway for betting on same-game parlays is understanding the context of your bets. While most single-game bets or even standard multi-game parlays are solely reliant on you doing your research or going with your gut on isolated events, knowing how your parlay can function as a collective result is key for a same-game parlay. It's risky to bet the OVER on one team's point total while also betting on the other team to win.
