The Indianapolis Colts opened up as a 4.5-point favorite at bet365 over the Tennessee Titans in a Week 16 contest. The Over/Under total was set at 42.5. The line moved down a hook to -4 and the Over/Under has held tight.
We do have some recent history for this matchup from Week 6 of this season. Indy (+2.5) flew down to Tennessee and squeezed out a 20-17 victory. The total was listed at 41.5 and it was an easy UNDER.
Looking ahead, the Titans stay on the road for another AFC South fight down in Jacksonville against the Jaguars, while the Colts pack their bags for a trip to New York to face the Giants.

Indy QB Anthony Richardson was a first round draft choice in 2023 with a rocket arm and expected to be the face of the franchise for the next 10 years. Hasn't quite worked out.
Last season, he had a concussion in the second game then missed the last 12 because of an A/C joint sprain in his shoulder. This season, he missed a couple of games with a hip pointer and has played in just 10 games. The results have been kinda UGLY. He is hitting ONLY 47% of his passes, with seven TDs and, UH OH, 11 INTs.
But the craziest part of this story is, after all the injury problems, the Colts are still letting him run the ball. Sure he is a big beast at 6'4" and 245 pounds, and has picked up 46, 48 and 61 yards on the ground the last three games, but C'MON, who is running the asylum and why do they still have the keys?
Indy was actually ahead in the third quarter 13-7 last week against the Broncos, but then the train went off the rails. RB Jonathan Taylor got loose for a gorgeous 41 yard run, but dropped the ball milliseconds before crossing the goal line. What shoulda been a TD and a 20-7 bulge just evaporated. Then LB Nik Bonitto blew up a trick play, grabbed Adonai Mitchell's lateral pass and rumbled 50 yards for a TD. Game OVER.
Luckily, after all the nonsense surrounding the Colts, the Titans are just as INEPT. Maybe even more. They have lost eight of the last 10 and covered only twice in 14 games. Chalk most of it up to QB Will Levis who was also taken in 2023 draft, with the No. 33 pick in the second round. Levis was yanked from the Bengals game after gifting Cincy with THREE INTs and a lost fumble. So that makes 12 TDs and 12 INTs for him so far this season.
Tennessee turned to veteran Mason Rudolph and the results were actually quite promising. Rudolph hit on 21 of 26, an amazing 80.8%, for 209 with two TDs and one INT.
Indy used the aging right arm of Joe Flacco in the first game against Tennessee but it looks like Richardson will get the ball again. If the Colts can continue to feed Taylor around 20 times, and if he holds on to the ball, we should be looking at another 100+ yard performance. Taylor missed three games back in October (ankle sprain), but he had 107 yards last week and should be ready to rumble. Throwin' some Horseshoes right into the Bank of Ecks!
Titans vs Colts News
After another ugly performance by Will Levis last week, it's being reported that the Titans are benching him for this game. Mason Rudolph is the next logical starter, and the most likely QB to get the nod, but he played poorly last week too. Trevor Siemian is on the practice squad an theoretically could get the nod as well.
