It’s time for another UFC PPV this weekend, with UFC 307 taking place on Saturday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The main event features Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. in a fight for the light heavyweight championship. The co-main event matches up Julianna Pena vs. Raquel Pennington for the bantamweight title.
“Coming off the last two main events that closed around a pick-em, UFC 307 isn’t getting the same amount of love,” Andrew Babakitis, risk manager at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook in Nevada said. “I think that’s mainly why we’re not seeing the same kind of handle, but hopefully it picks up on Saturday.”
Babakitis expanded on his thoughts on where the action has been coming in for a few UFC 307 fights and where the respected money has been.

UFC 307 Main event: Alex Pereira (-500) vs. Khalil Rountee Jr. (+350)
“We opened Pereira -550, it’s dropped to -450. Currently, we need the underdog, but [it’s not a big] decision. The price indicates that there’s some market for Rountree. We kind of foresee that Pereira will be in a bunch of parlays because people aren’t likely to lay -450 on the main event very often.”
UFC 307 Co-main event: Raquel Pennington (-175) vs. Julianna Pena (+145)
“For the co-main event, we opened Pennington at -185, we’re down to -155. Same kind of thing, there’s been some underdog money in the market to push that down, nothing respected here, though.”
UFC 307: Joaquin Buckley (-225) vs. Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson (+185)
Most of the handle has come in on Buckley. It opened -190, now -220, we could really use Thompson here. There’s a lot of money in this fight.
