Clippers vs Pistons OVER 223.5

While both teams are entering the second night of a back-to-back, I like the OVER in the Clippers vs Pistons game. Los Angeles has exceed this point total in seven of their past 10 contests, while Detroit has surpassed this total in eight of their last 10.

Cade Cunningham continues to push the Pistons towards their first playoff birth since 2019. Having said that, he's got a ton of help this year. Detroit has a plethora of shooters and bucket getters who can get hot at any moment in Tim Hardaway Jr, Tobias Harris, Malik Beasley and the newly acquired Dennis Schroder. This Pistons team can score. Plus, they're not that great at defending, allowing opponents to shoot over 37% from deep this season.

Clippers role players Kris Dunn, Amir Coffey, Derrick Jones Jr., and Bogdan Bogdanovic combined to shoot 2-for-22 from three against Indiana yesterday. I'm willing to bet the Clippers receive some positive shooting variance in Detroit tonight. Bet the Clippers-Pistons OVER 223.5.

Atlanta Hawks Moneyline

I'm backing the Hawks after a tough loss to the Pistons last night. Atlanta doesn't defend particularly well, so they're going to have to outscore teams. That'll play against a beat up Miami Heat team on the fifth leg of a road trip, travelling from Milwaukee for the second game of a back-to-back.

Miami is just 1-3 on their current road trip, with a win over the Toronto Raptors their only bright spot. Additionally, the Heat are just 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games, and 12-19-1 ATS on the road this season.

Atlanta put up 143 points last night and still lost. However, the Hawks have the advantage of sleeping in their own beds as they await the travelling Heat tonight. Crucially, Miami has shot just 29.94% from three over their last five games. Expect the poor shooting to continue in Atlanta.

Nets vs Wizards OVER 214

Nobody's going to be writing home about the February 24 Nets vs Wizards showdown. However, we can all profit off of these two NBA bottom dwellers. Both the Nets and Wizards shot under 27% from three their last time on the floor. I'm willing to bet those numbers improve tonight.

After all, both the Nets and Wizards allow opponents to convert on over 36% of three-pointers. Wizards guard Jordan Poole has shot just 3-for-21 from deep across his last two games. You can bet he'll be launching again tonight, and with some positive shooting variance, will knock down a couple more. This is as low a total as you'll find in the NBA, and Washington has surpassed 214 points in seven of their last 10 games.
