kon knueppel oVER 14.5 Points (+100) At Sportsbook
Cooper Flagg is still the face of Duke, but Kon Knueppel has been just as crucial during the Blue Devils' tournament run. The freshman has dropped 41 points over his last two games, including a tournament-high 21 against No. 2 Alabama—stepping up when Flagg was held to just 16. Houston’s stingy defense will be a tougher test but based on Knueppel’s recent performances, confidence on the court, and playing all the minutes he's getting, hitting 15 points feels possible. He’s done everything Jon Scheyer could ask for—and then some.
walter clayton jr. OVER 20.5 Points (-115) at Sportsbook
Walter Clayton Jr. has clutch for the Gators this tournament, scoring 23 points or more in three of four games. Even more threatening is the senior coming off his best performance yet—dropping 30 against Texas Tech in the Elite Eight.
Auburn brings a solid defense on Saturday, allowing just 69.2 points per game, but Florida has already faced tougher defensive teams in UConn, Maryland, and Texas Tech since the second round and Clayton still delivered the OVER on this line in two of those matchups. With the National Championship so close that he can taste it, I expect Clayton Jr. to leave it all on the court in this Final Four meeting.
j'Wan roberts uNDER 6.5 Rebounds (-105) at Sportsbook
J’Wan Roberts enters Saturday’s matchup as Houston’s top rebounder, averaging 6.4 per game this season. However, Roberts has failed to grab seven boards in three of his last four games and now he’s up against a Duke team that’s strong on the glass, giving up less than 30 total rebounds in its last three campaigns.
Duke sits inside the top 25 in the nation in rebounding, courtesy of Cooper Flagg (7.5 RPG) and Khaman Maluach (6.8 RPG). Notably, Duke allows the lowest shooting percentage from the field (44.4%) in college basketball. So, I think the Cougars will be forced to shoot more from the perimeter here, simultaneously making it difficult for Roberts to attack the glass, too.
