New York, New York may not be sung too heartily this upcoming NFL season. This 2024 New York Giants season preview and odds exhibit how little faith sportsbooks have in Brian Daboll's team heading into season.

2024 New York Giants Super Bowl & NFC Odds
Super Bowl Odds | NFC Championship Odds | NFC East Odds |
---|---|---|
+15000 | +6500 | +1600 |
Odds as of August 26
The New York Football Giants are set up for a less than stellar 2024. At the end of the day, there's a reason the G-Men tried to trade up for Drake Maye during the NFL Draft. If the Giants' brass are less than impressed with starting quarterback Daniel Jones, there's no reason for you to be bullish on his 2024 performance. A wager on the Giants here is a waste.
Much more talented teams speckle the NFC East landscape, and there are few paths to the double-digit wins it would take the Giants to win their division. Ditto to their NFC odds, which reflect the fact they're one of the least talented squads in the conference.
2024 New York Giants Win Total Odds

Odds as of August 26
Bettors looking for the Giants to exceed expectations in 2024 will be left disappointed. According to Sharp Football, the Giants have an implied line of 6.25 wins and are 20th in terms of strength of schedule.
Personally, at +116 there's not enough value to place an OVER 6.5 wins wagers. The Giants are far more likely to crumble this season, meaning the only thing I'm willing to place my hard earned money on is the UNDER. But at -142 there's little point in that. Judging by Jones' preseason performance, there are very likely to be a ton of negative plays this season, as their offensive line also looks to be a below average unit.
For those reasons, New York's alternate win total line of UNDER 4.5 is intriguing, and you can find that at some of our favorite books at +235 odds. The UNDER was also a valuable play for bettors last season. But remember, the books watch the same games we do, so they're very likely to juice those lines and account for their brutal offense in 2024. Fade the Giants for maximum profits this season, you won't regret it.
2024 New York Giants Playoff Odds
To Make Playoffs | To Miss Playoffs |
---|---|
+410 | -590 |
Odds as of August 26
At these odds I'm staying far away from any New York Giants playoff wager this season.
The Giants have qualified for the playoffs just once so far this decade, with Daboll's debut season amounting to nine wins and a playoff victory over the Minnesota Vikings. They were promptly smashed 38-7 the following week.
As we covered in win totals, it's more likely than not the G-Men fall short of even six wins this season, placing them firmly in the race for the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. They won't be a part of any playoff conversations.
2024 New York Giants NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds
Player | Odds |
---|---|
Malik Nabers | +1500 |
Odds as of August 26
If you watched our NFC betting preview on the Huddle last week, you're well aware that I love the OVER on a bunch of Malik Nabers props this season. I'm also a big fan of throwing a half unit on him to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
The lack of talent around Nabers is glaring. Meaning the LSU product will be the alpha for the Giants from the jump. He's looked spectacular in limited preseason action, and has the size and otherworldly speed to be a difference maker the moment he steps foot on the field.
