2024 Tennessee Titans Season Betting Preview

2024 Tennessee Titans Season Preview & Odds: Levis & Callahan Era Kicks Off

The Tennessee Titans enter a new era in 2024. As the NFL season gets set to kickoff, the Titans are banking on a major shakeup. Firing Mike Vrabel and hiring offensive-minded head coach Brian Callahan to spark future success.

Let's dive into all the 2024 Tennessee Titans betting odds and my best bets.

As their odds attest, the Titans aren't a serious contender in any of these season long betting markets.

Tennessee's best offensive player, Derrick Henry signed with the Ravens this off-season. Henry was the heartbeat of this squad and will be sorely missed both on the field and in the locker room. No longer can the Titans simply hand the ball off on third and medium and let their 250-pound tank go to work.

The Titans lack talent along the offensive line, and quarterback Will Levis will be learning a whole new system. Plus, the AFC is absolutely loaded with at least eight teams looking like genuine playoff contenders. Tennessee is likely a few years away from winning in any of the Super Bowl, AFC Championship or AFC South markets.

The Titans will struggle to win five games this season. That's just the reality of the state of their roster. I have little faith in the ability of Brian Callahan to coax the absolute best out of this team. Former head coach Mike Vrabel did a lot with less for many years in Tennessee, and I think Callahan will struggle to replicate that production. The Titans went 4-1-1 ATS as a home underdog last season, but struggled ATS in almost all other scenarios. Reproducing that success will be tough in 2024.

Callahan will call plays for the Titans offense with my namesake, offensive coordinator Nick Holz collaborating on play designs. As much as I'd like to bet on their success, I'm on the UNDER here. Vrabel perpetually got the very best out of a roster that had a ton of holes in it, and I can't see Callahan doing the same in his first year as a head coach.

The combination of a bad offensive line, paired with a quarterback who isn't afraid to take a hit in Levis is a recipe for disaster. I've got no faith in this team, so bet their alternate UNDER 5.5 wins at +152.

2024 Tennessee Titans Playoff Odds

Odds as of September 5

The Titans are a longshot to make the playoffs this season. Playing in a division with the much more talented Texans, Jaguars and Colts will make any playoff push tough. Of course, the loaded AFC makes the Titans being one of the seven teams to qualify for the postseason nigh on impossible.

Levis looked like a quarterback of the future in limited action last season, but building on that success in 2024 will be paramount. Tennessee is at least a couple of years away from playoff contention.

Odds as of September 5

The Titans have few chances to win a season-long award this season. Levis will likely be running for his life behind the Titans poor offensive line. I'd rather play a longshot player prop same-game parlay than bet on Will Levis to win NFL MVP at these odds.
