Looking ahead, the Cowboys fly back home to host Baker and the Bucs, while the Panthers hang in Charlotte for another week to bang helmets with the Arizona Cardinals.

Okay, we know that this season has been UGLIFIED for Dallas, but Carolina as the favorite in this matchup, WHAT? You probably looked and found out the Panthers have NOT been favored in any of their 13 games this season. And if you wanna scroll back a little further, Carolina has not been favored since they played the Steelers back in 2022. So, 33 games as a dog, THIRTY THREE! And now they come up as a favorite against the Cowboys.

What the H am I missing? Sure, they played a competitive game against the Eagles last week, losing by just six points, 22-16, but easily covering the 14 point spread. Sure they are on a tasty 5-0 run against the spread. Sure QB Bryce Young is making fewer mistakes and RB Chuba Hubbard is finding some holes. But, FAVORED?

Gotta throw some LEGOmetrics at you. Looking at the five in a row that the Panthers have covered, it started with a win against a lousy New Orleans team (5-8). Then a W against a LOUSIER NY Giants squad (2-11). Then they kept it tight against the Chiefs who were coming off a tense game the week before against the Bills. And last week, they hung with Philly who was coming off a slugfest against the Ravens with the battle of Pennsylvania on the horizon against the Steelers.Think that the Eagles were putting the pedal to the metal against Carolina? Nah!

The Panthers at 3-10 do not have the worst record in the NFL, that's the Giants and Raiders both at 2-11, but they have allowed the MOST points this season (388), and have the WORST plus/minus rating at -155.

Dallas actually played a pretty solid game against the Bengals on Monday night and if it wasn't for the blocked punt fiasco, it coulda been a win. Cooper Rush was respectable, hitting on 16 of 31 for 183 yards and two TDs. But the REALLY good news came from RB Rico Dowdle. Starting with the Washington game three weeks ago, Dowdle had 86 yards, then 112 against the NY Giants and 131 against Cincy.

Dallas is another team that is WAY better on the road (4-2) then at home (1-6). The Cowboys defense against the run was top notch, allowing only 74 total yards, but gave up too much through the air. However, the last time we looked, the Titans have NO ONE named Burrow or Chase.

And when you see the passion and grown men cry, like Micah Parsons after the game, you realize this team is STILL in it to win it. They will also be watching the playoffs at home, but this Cowboys will make sweet music down in Nashville with an easy breezy W.
