The Los Angeles Rams ride a two-game winning streak into Seattle to take on the Seahawks as 2-point favorites in Week 9 action. This is a very important game in the NFC West as all four teams are within a half game of each other.
Seattle looked awful in its last game vs. Buffalo and they're looking to bounce back vs. a team they lost to twice last season.
Keep reading for injury updates in this game and to see how I'm approaching it from a betting perspective.

Rams vs Seahawks Week 9 Picks
Alt Total over 51 (+125)
When healthy, these two teams feature two of the best wide receiver rooms in the NFL. With DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Puka Nacua on the field, every play has the potential to turn into a touchdown.
Seattle's defense is overrated at this point in the season. A lot of people have the perception of them as a defensive unit under the guidance of head coach Mike Macdonald, but the truth is that Seattle has allowed 29+ points in four out of their last five games. Both teams rank in the bottom half of the league in 3rd down percentage and that, combined with the offensive firepower mentioned above, is a recipe for points.
Seattle might be getting back offensive lineman Abe Lucas and George Fant in this ine and, if so, that'll help stabilize the unit and create more sustained drives.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if the current total of 48.5 rises before kickoff.
Rams vs Seahawks Week 9 Props
Over 2.5 Seattle FG (+275)
The Rams have been playing surprisingly good defense in the redzone lately. L.A. ranks 8th in the NFL over their last three games with a 44.44% rate allowing touchdowns. I think Seattle will be able to move the ball in this one, but wouldn't be surprised to see the Rams defense tighten up and force a few field goals.
There's not expected to be a lot of wind in this game and I'll trust Jason Meyers, one of the NFLs most reliable kickers, at home.
Rams vs Seahawks News
The biggest name to watch this week in terms of injury news is DK Metcalf. Seattle's star wide receiver missed last week's game and bettors will be monitoring his practice status closely throughout the week.
"He hasn’t practiced yet, so let’s let him practice and see how he feels before we start making judgments on the week, but we’re optimistic for this week," Seattle coach Mike MacDonald said Monday according to reporter Brady Henderson.
Friday Updates: Metcalf didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. Nacua left practice Thursday with an injury to his same injured knee. Reports today are that the injury isn't serious, but his status for Sunday is now in doubt.
