On Sunday, two of the most disappointing teams of the NFL season face off as the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-12) host the Tennessee Titans (3-12). Oddsmakers HAD to make someone the favorite so the home squad Jaguars are -1 at bet365.
This game could have significant implications on the NFL Draft order as the Jaguars sit third and the Titans sit fourth. Which AFC South team will emerge victorious here? Let’s dive into the matchup and find out.

Titans vs Jaguars Picks - Week 17
Under 41 Points (-110) at bet365
The Titans decided to bench Will Levis a couple of weeks ago, starting Mason Rudolph instead. That likely signifies the end of Levis’s time in Tennessee as the Titans will look to find a new starter this offseason. Levis couldn’t take advantage of this dream matchup against the Jaguars a couple of weeks ago, but can we have faith in Mason Rudolph here? The Jaguars have the worst pass defense in the NFL by DVOA, but a three-interception performance last week doesn’t instill confidence in Rudolph as the starter.
Mac Jones doesn’t inspire much more confidence on the other side, posting five touchdowns to seven interceptions this year. However, he can at least work the ball to Brian Thomas Jr. enough times throughout the game to provide upside for the offense. Thomas looks like a future superstar in the NFL, ranking ninth among qualified receivers with 2.36 yards per route run despite being saddled by one of the worst offensive environments in the NFL.
The Titans participated in a shootout against the Colts last week in a game with a combined 68 points, but we shouldn’t expect that to be repeated. When these teams met a few weeks ago, they combined for just 16 total points, and this matchup should much more closely resemble that ugly contest. It’s difficult to have much confidence in either team here given the state of their respective seasons, but neither offense figures to hang a big number on Sunday.
Titans vs Jaguars Prop Pick Week 17
Chigoziem Okonkwo OVER Receiving Yards (not available yet)
Over the last two weeks, Chigoziem Okonkwo has become a significant factor in the Titans' passing game, with 17 catches for 140 yards. He has produced far better numbers with Rudolph as the starter. With Will Levis, Okonkwo has posted a 14.5% target per route run rate and 1.03 yards per route run. With Rudolph, those numbers climb to a 23.7% target per route run rate and 1.60 yards per route run.
Against a pathetic Jaguars pass defense, Okonkwo should have an opportunity to continue his recent impressive stretch of production.
