I'm back with two more anytime touchdown bets for the NFL's Week 8 action. I've got eyes on Cleveland's David Njoku and Denver's Javonte Williams as my picks this week. Williams, in particular, is an easy play, as he goes up against the league's worst rushing defense in the Carolina Panthers.
Here are my NFL anytime touchdown scorer bets for Week 8:
Week 8 NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer Bets
Record | Unit Profit |
---|---|
4-8 | -2.50 |
Javonte Williams Anytime TD (-130)
When in doubt, bet on running back touchdowns against Carolina. After getting torched all last season by RBs, the Panthers have let up 14 touchdown scores in just seven games this season, four more than any other team.
Javonte Williams is the best way to take advantage of that Carolina weakness this week, as the Denver rusher sees 76.5% of all Broncos red-zone rushes. He has 13 red zone carries this season for 37 yards and two scores. As long as Bo Nix and the Broncos can get Williams close to the goal line, he can join the list of many RBs who cash against the Panthers.
Javonte WIlliams finished as the RB5 in Week 7.

Now, gets the best matchup in the world for a running back, the Carolina Panthers who allow on average two touchdowns per game to the position.

David Njoku Anytime Touchdown (+300)
David Njoku took his game to another level last week. Cleveland's offense changed in a big way last week, with Deshaun Watson getting hurt and Amari Cooper traded to the Bills. The new-look Browns attack saw Njoku get 14 targets, 10 receptions and a touchdown. He doubled his season reception total last week and scored his first touchdown of the year.
With Jameis Winston expected to start at QB for the Browns this week, I expect Njoku to remain the star of Cleveland passing attack. Another positive for Njoku is he plays a Ravens defense that funnels passes to tight ends. Baltimore doesn't let up much in the running game, but they've allowed the most tight end receiving yards in football this year (536), giving the Cleveland TE a chance to run free and find the end zone.

How To Understand NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer Odds
The time has come that you finally want to bet on some NFL props instead of sides and totals and you’ve decided on the NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer props. This is a fun choice because props are like games within the game that may or may not have a direct impact on the outcome of the game.
When you go to your online sportsbook to look at NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer odds for our recommended bets, for instance, the odds available to bet on might be presented like this:
Cooper Kupp – Rams +120
Tee Higgins – Bengals +150
Similar to a moneyline bet where favorites would be marked with the minus sign (-) and underdogs with the plus sign (+), the favorite to score a touchdown is a player with the lowest odds, which in this case is Cooper Kupp. Based on Kupp’s implied odds from sportsbooks, he has a 45.45 percent chance to score a touchdown.
Let’s say you think Tee Higgins will score a touchdown in this game. In order to make $100 in profit, you would need to bet $66.67. If you make that bet and Higgins scores, your $66.67 original bet is returned and you win $100 in profit.
On the flip side, part of the allure of NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer wagers is the big paydays you could receive for being right and picking a player who doesn’t score as often as Kupp or Higgins. In this case, you decide to bet on the Bengals’ Joe Burrow at +500.
If you bet $100 on Burrow and he finds the end zone in the game, you would get $600 returned to you. Your original $100 bet is refunded and the sportsbook will give you $500 in profit for your winning bet.
