Favorites have dominated the 2025 March Madness tournament, going 51-13 SU and a perfect 12-0 in the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. As such, bettors are backing the chalk once again in the March Madness Final Four betting handles.

It's no surprise to see Duke as the most bet team to cover the spread in the Final Four. The Blue Devils have long been the favorites in the National Championship odds. Jon Scheyer's squad may have the most talent in all of college basketball. And, they're led by this guy named Cooper Flagg, who's the favorite in the March Madness Most Outstanding Player odds. 

Duke has won three of its four March Madness games by 20+ points. With an average margin of victory of 23, the Blue Devils have bettors rushing to bet them, even against the stifling defense of the Houston Cougars.

Most popular bets (money)

Once again, the Blue Devils dominate with the most money wagered on both the spread and moneyline market. 

Intriguingly, the Florida Gators have dominated the handle with 75% spread wagers. Auburn star Johni Broome's elbow and knee injuries looms large over the Florida vs Auburn game. Florida has long been a National Championship liability for the sportsbooks, who are hoping for at least one upset in the Final Four. 

Notable Final Four bets

A half-million dollars on the Blue Devils to cut down the nets at the end of March Madness is certainly a statement. But, there are far worse wagers left on the board. Even against the Houston Cougars fantastic defense, the Blue Devils non-stop offensive attack will be tough to defeat.

One bettor threw a cool $100,000 on Florida, and could be set for a nice payday if the Gators get through Auburn, and then either Duke or Houston in the final.
