CBB Player Props Today: Bet on Maluach In a Mismatch Against Baylor

The second round of March Madness festivities continues on Sunday, with a ton of high-profile matchups. Bettors can wet their whistle on the likes of two-time defending champion UConn vs Florida, Baylor vs Duke, Illinois vs Kentucky, Saint Mary's vs Alabama, and New Mexico vs Michigan State. As some of the best players in the nation take to the hardwood, check out my CBB player prop plays of the day.

Khaman Maluach OVER 15.5 Points + Rebounds -120 at Sportsbook

Khaman Maluach has become an integral part of the Duke team, averaging 8.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season. Maluach's 7'2, 250-pound frame makes him a dominant screener and rebounder.

The South Sudanese big man has exceeded 15.5 points and rebounds in six of his last seven games, while putting up 18.86 a night. Maluach's played 22 minutes per contest while nailing 68% of field goals, and scooping up 9.4 rebounds.

Baylor lacks the size and stopping ability to contend with Maluach. The Bears rank 104th in defensive rebounding and 202nd in opponent effective field goal percentage. Expect to see Luol Deng's prodigy dominate the Bears.

Luke Barrett OVER 16.5 Points + Rebounds -106 Sportsbook

Saint Mary's swingman Luke Barrett has been a huge part of the Gael's run this season. Barrett has surpassed 16.5 points and rebounds in five of his last six games, and should be heavily involved once again versus the Crimson Tide.

This Saint Mary's vs Alabama contest profiles as a shootout, so betting player prop overs is the way to go. Barrett is knocking down 46% of shots across his lat 10 games, while playing close to 37 minutes and grabbing seven rebounds a night. The senior will have no problem exceeding those numbers in a fast paced game against Alabama tonight.

Caleb Love UNDER 21.5 Points + Assists -120 at Underdog Fantasy

Arizona Wildcats guard Caleb Love has failed to exceed 21.5 points + assists in four of his last five games. Love has averaged 19.6 points + assists in that stretch, while shooting 47% from the field.

While Love will play a far large role tonight against Oregon than he did in the first round versus Akron, I believe the Ducks have the depth, athleticism and length to contain the super senior. After all, Love is the definition of a streaky shooter, and head coach Tommy Lloyd will do all he can to ensure his star doesn't shoot the Wildcats out of this tournament.

Look for Love to play far more passively again tonight, as the Wildcats aim to advance against Oregon. Fade Caleb Love on your CBB player props betting slips today.
