The San Francisco 49ers return home after an ugly loss on Sunday Night Football and will host the Bears as four-point favorites in Week 14 action. Oddsmakers set the total at 44.
Chicago is fresh off a really tough loss vs. the Lions that resulted in their head coach getting fired. Meanwhile, the 49ers are hoping to end a three-game losing skid.

Bears vs 49ers Picks Week 14
Bears U20.5 TT (-130)
It's fair to wonder about the state of the Bears locker room after an emotionally devastating loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving. Thomas Brown takes over as interim coach and he'll have his hands full with offensive play calling duties and being the team's leader. We've seen a lot of other coaches struggle with this transition and Brown might be next.
The 49er defense looked awful vs. the Bills but help is on the way. Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir missed last week and will return which means this will be the first time in four weeks San Francisco has its two top corners. Furthermore, the practice windows for Talanoa Hufunga and Dre Greenlaw have opened, so it's possible one or both of them return this week as well.
The Bears offense has scored less than 20 points in five out of its last six games.
I'm not sure what to expect from the 49ers offense or the Bears defense, which is why I'm staying away from the full game total.

Bears vs 49ers News
The 49ers put a trio of players on IR last week after the ugly loss to the Bills. Running backs Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason are done for the season long with defensive tackle Kevin Givens. That means Isaac Guerendo takes over the backfield for the 49ers and he's a viabie option for fantasy leagues.
The Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus and Offensive Coordinator Thomas Brown takes over as interim head coach.
