The Denver Broncos are 9.5-point favorites at home vs the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18, as KC is widely expected to start backup quarterback Carson Wentz.
Patrick Mahomes and Co. have already clinched the bye, so it seems logical to rest all relevant starters. Conversely, the Broncos are fighting for their playoff lives, with a win clinching a berth in the NFL postseason. Denver is a -500 ML favorite, and the OVER 38.5 is juiced at -114.

Chiefs vs Broncos Week 18 Picks
Chiefs +9.5 (-110)
Is Mahomes the only thing this Chiefs team has? Heck, no. Andy Reid and the coaching staff have built a goliath of an NFL squad that, while not super exceptional anywhere, has very few vulnerabilities. Mahomes, of course, is not a system QB by any means, but a talent crew around him buoys him. Plopping Wentz in there won't make KC a totally useless crew.
The Broncos will be ready to ball, which is why they're a fine ML parlay pick, but this spread is too steep. I get that +9.5 is a brutal number, so maybe push an alternate spread to +10.5 if you're squeamish.
Chiefs vs Broncos Week 18 Props
Bo Nix OVER 24.5 Rushing Yards
Nix makes a lot happen with his legs, and I'll bet he rushes for more than 25 yards on Sunday. He's exceeded that total in two straight contests and is now poised for another OVER vs the Chiefs. KC yields an average of 22.5 rushing yards per game to QBs (21st) and 0.25 rushing TDs (21st). Both Russell Wilson and CJ Stroud hit the OVER in consecutive weeks vs the Chiefs. Nix will do the same.
