Steelers vs Ravens Wild Card Weekend Odds & Picks: Ravens Poised to Dominate

The Baltimore Ravens enter a Wild Card weekend showdown with their rival Pittsburgh Steelers as massive 9.5-point favorites. This Saturday night clash marks the third installment of this storied Steelers vs Ravens rivalry this season. Pittsburgh won the first game 18-16 at home, before Baltimore won the second in a 34-17 blowout in Week 16. With the stakes higher than ever, the sixth playoff battle between these AFC North foes promises to deliver another chapter of black-and-blue winner-take-all football.

Steelers vs Ravens Wild Card Picks

Ravens First-Half Spread -6.5 -108

These teams are on two different trajectories heading in the playoffs. Pittsburgh has lost four games in a row, while Baltimore has won four on the hop.

However, Pittsburgh is 3-1 SU against their divisional foes in the playoffs, with Baltimore winning the last meeting back in 2014.

If you haven't noticed, Mr. Jackson and the Ravens offense are the real deal. The two-time NFL MVP has combined with star running back Derrick Henry to form a lethal backfield duo. Those two ushered in a supreme year for Todd Monken's offense as the Ravens led the NFL in offensive yards per game, yards per rush, and red zone scoring percentage while putting up 30.5 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Steelers finished the season on a disappointing 1-3 ATS run, with the under hitting in four of their last five contests. Russell Wilson and the Steelers offense has crashed back to earth in that time, scoring just 14.25 points per game and sitting 31st in EPA per play.

Crucially, Baltimore went 5-2 SU vs fellow AFC playoff teams, with an average margin of victory of 14 points. The Ravens went 7-2 ATS against all playoff participants this season, and are on a roll. I expect Baltimore to seize an early lead in this matchup and never look back.

Steelers vs Ravens Wild Card Props

Russell Wilson OVER 0.5 Interceptions -115

Mr. Unlimited threw an interception in each matchup with the Ravens earlier this season. I expect that trend to continue as Pittsburgh falls behind early. The Steelers aren't equipped to chase points and battle back from behind, and Baltimore's defense will force Wilson into at least one mistake on Wild Card weekend.
