Public Loves Barkley as a Value Play

While no running back has won Super Bowl MVP since Terrell Davis in 1997, nobody is better equipped to make history than Saquon, fresh off a historic season.

Saquon finished third in MVP voting this year after averaging 142 total yards and a TD per game. But is that status enough to propel him to a Super Bowl MVP? Well, if Barkley racks up 120+ yards and scores a few touchdowns in a Super Bowl victory for the Eagles, it’s hard to imagine anyone else taking home the MVP.

Can You ever Fade Mahomes?

Mahomes' +105 odds to win Super Bowl MVP are tough to deny, even if the public prefers to pour its money into Barkley's MVP case.

Mahomes has built a career on delivering in the biggest moments, winning three Super Bowls and earning three Super Bowl MVPs in just eight seasons. While his playoff stats this year—211 yards per game and two passing touchdowns—may not dazzle, he remains Kansas City's most vital player and the driving force behind their success. If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, it’s hard to imagine anyone but Mahomes lifting his fourth MVP trophy.

Longshot Option: Jalen Carter (+6000 at BetMGM)

Carter's ceiling is as high as any defensive lineman in football, as we saw in the Divisional Round when he dominated with two sacks, a forced fumble, and three QB hits. If the Eagles exploit the Chiefs’ interior weakness, particularly against struggling left guard Mike Caliendo, Carter could deliver a multi-sack performance and make a strong case for Super Bowl MVP. What a cash that would be at 2.7% of the betting handle.
