Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals go to war with Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers in a monumental Week 18 NFL clash. Cincinnati pulled out a win from the depths of defeat in a thrilling 30-24 overtime victory over Denver in Week 17, while the Steelers fell 29-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs. This Bengals vs Steelers AFC North matchup fills the NFL's Saturday primetime slot, kicking off at 8pm on January 4th.

Everything about the Bengals narrative has me wanting to back Cincinnati on Saturday night. I'd love to see Cincinnati travel to take on the Buffalo Bills in a Wild Card playoff matchup. Joe Burrow has been spectacular, throwing for 4,641 yards and 42 touchdowns. Had his team not let him down, Burrow would undoubtedly be in the NFL MVP conversation.
However, the historical betting trends have me backing the Steelers. Cincinnati is 10-43 SU in road primetime games all time. While the Bengals have won more than one road primetime contest for the first time in franchise history this season and have gone 2-2 thus far. Although, those wins came over the awful Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Moreover, the Steelers are an absolute juggernaut as home dogs under Mike Tomlin. Pittsburgh is 19-11 SU as a home underdog in Tomlin's coaching tenure, and an even better 20-9-1 ATS. Plus, the Steelers are an unreal 10-3 in home primetime games over the past five seasons. Cincinnati has been one of the NFL's greatest second-half teams, but their story ends here.
Bengals vs Steelers Week 17 Props
Jaylen Warren OVER 21.5 Receiving Yards
Pittsburgh needs to generate far more offense than they have on their three-game losing streak to keep pace with Cincinnati. One way to do that is to get Jaylen Warren even more involved in the passing game. Warren's seen 11 targets over the past two weeks, and surpassed 40 receiving yards in each contest. He also hauled in for receptions for 55 yards in the first matchup between these teams. Bet on Jaylen Warren over 21.5 receiving yards on Saturday night.
