Sure, Cooper Rush has put up impressive numbers when he's made starts in the past for Dallas. But those starts were under very different circumstances. Back in 2022, Rush was throwing the ball to Cee Dee Lamb, Noah Brown, and Michael Gallup. He also had an impressive running back duo of Tony Pollard and Zeke Elliot.
The 2024 version of the Cowboys still has Lamb and Elliot, but Lamb is banged up and Elliot is washed up. Brown, Gallup, and Pollard have left an haven't really been replaced with quality names. Making matters worse, the Cowboys offensive line is much worse this season than it was in 2022.
The Eagles' offense has been explosive, but both star wide receivers are again banged up and not practicing in full. Nobody would be surprised if Davonta Smith and AJ Brown both play, but they may not be 100% either.
I'm expecting this to be a game with more running than passing and I the number 43 is a bit of a key number with NFL totals so I was happy to grab the half point.

The big news in this game is that, for the first time this season, Dallas will be without starting quarterback Dak Prescott who injured his hamstring. There are reports that Prescott's injury could require season ending surgery, but that's not been confirmed. Cooper Rush is the new Cowboys quarterback and he has a surprisingly good 5-1 record as the Dallas starter.
Cee Dee Lamb injured his shoulder last week and was in obvious pain during the game. A lot of people were surprised to see him get in a limited practice session on Wednesday. Micah Parsons, Dallas' best past rusher, also practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday.
